I was reviewing some comments regarding problems with the ez-adjustment screw fitting loose in the carbs and was wondering if you had a bad carb why you couldn't just drill the carb out and install a heli coil.:):)

Could be done - but how many people have the talent to do it and not screw it up?
It's not something I would try free handed you would have to make a jig to hold it rock steady and at the angle needed to get it right. Otherwise you'll be lookin for a new carb.
Best bet would be return the needle and get one of Ken's - if it ain't right I'd bet he'd make it right.

Let me first say that loose fitting EZ-Just screws is very isolated compared to the thousands of these screws sold each year. Given the rarity of this I wouldn't go on record making any specific recommendations without first finding out everything about the circumstance.

In regards to heli coils, the threading in this carburetor is a very fine metric thread for which I have not seen a commercially available heli coil.
