Wow, some cool morning riding this week. Monday a wonderful 37, Tuesday morning 42 and this morning it was 47. Tomorrow morning they are calling for temps around 45. At least the afternoon rides home have been WONDERFUL with temps from 65 to 70. BUT Friday is going to be crap with rain and temps in the 50s. How about the rest of you?

Just get orders for Alaska then we will talk again. You will be praying for one of my 37 degree mornings. Oh heck you would then be praying for a 37 degree afternoon.

I leathered up yesterday (Wednesday) and rode down to the sea.
It was brisk but with the Chaps and jacket it was nice.
Then I rode to my favorite chicken joint and had some gizzards and livers then rode home

hahaha, oh man I feel for you on the snow thing. After all those years in Germany I do not think I want to see too much more of the white stuff. It is sunny here just cold. I just hope this cold snap does not last too long, Georgia weather is making me a wimp.

BUT that is a GOOD Thing! ;)

I been to GA a few times, and I could get used to GA pretty easy. Stay out of the cities like in any other state and I bet I could snug right down with GA. Most of the folks I met there were pretty laid back and cool, the weather has always been nice while I was there. Now if I get to the south GA line you can bet there is a fight on, ain't NO WAY I would go back to FL unless it was chasing some jerk that done something to my family. Then and only then just long enough to treat him REAL badly (with a little extra for making me go back in FL). Would like to hit AL,MS, and AR atleast once each. Got friends in AL and AR, just might have to ride down there someday.

Good Morning!!! Not much of a Florida lover now are you? We were down in Daytona for our family vacation the last week in July and had a blast. Those afternoon thunderstorms from Hades are rather annoying though. ;)

It was a rather BRISK ride in today. A balmy 36 degrees with a feels like of 29. Or so the weather channel said. I figure out yet again why I never wear this one pair of thick winter gloves. It is because they are awful. Yup time to find a good pair of winter gloves! Looking for a high of only about 51 today and then a low tonight around 30. hmmmm, I guess we will just wait and see what tomorrow brings. I am ready for this cold snap to end! I need some good old Georgia weather again.

Have you ever been to Helen, GA? small little German town in the north Georgia mountains. It is roughly 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta. I need to get a day trip up there again myself.

Nah I ain't been there, passed through Atlanta on my way to FL the first (and last time) back in 96. Ran down to Covington to pick up my Sporty last year. Stupid ebay purchases that you have to pick up :roflmao: . It was WAY worth it though, bud and I had one heck of a fun road trip down and back. Hit every Harley shop we seen on our way back up, starting with Covington and ending when they closed and we couldn't stop any more LOL. I like those little German towns though. We have a few here in the Yankee states (PA and OH) and always find good food there :D .

Try to stay a little warm anyway man. Enjoy those brisk rides. I did find one problem with mine last year. I only live 4 miles from work and that isn't far enough for the bike to get full boil and I picked up condensation in the covers on the primary. Didn't cause any real problems but sure did scare me when I found it (during winter tear down).

Couldn't ride this week-end, SNOW! I think I will have to move south to get a warmer riding climate. I am thinking Texas, as they also have no state income tax.

Every year in winter I wonder why, when my ancestors came over, they had a whole country to choose from, why they picked the god forsaken frozen north. I am not a winter person.
