Flames out the Exhaust

    I tried the samson piece before and didn't like it much. My previous bike had ST Mean Mother pipes and I installed the Krome Werks HP-Plus baffles (found them at J&P). They were a bit more pricey than some baffles but really improved the lower end torque.

    Mean Mothers came in 2 styles of pipe, 2" and 2-1/4" OD so double check which baffle size you get. Just search their site for the words drag pipe baffles and you'll find many different ones.

    Kenfuzed, how did they sound after you put those Khrome Werks Baffles in. Did you loose a lot of the sound or did it maintain the majority of it.

    The sound was quieter at idle and very low load however had a good deep bark when cracking open the throttle. Also improved decel pop which open pipes are notorious for.
