The Dodge ecodiesel is rated at 420 ft pounds and is 3.0 in size. I'd rather have a diesel for longevity over a gas, Fix Or Repair Boy :D

By the way not to hijack this thread but got to hold the new Glock 42 today. Very small and light weight but think I'll keep my Sig P238. :)

Oh yea Fix Or Repair Boy, or Found on road dead boy, they don't salt the roads here in Oregon. They throw down sand in slick areas or say scre% it your on your own :)

Plus when I bought my Dodge it was owned by Chrysler not Fiat

    Cao' bella mr fiat:cold:
It's First On Race Day to you:cool:

Diesels are nice but not worth the $10K entrance fee...

Regular gas here $3.40 a gallon
Diesel is $4 a gallon plus 10K for the option,
    break even is 40 years...

Dodge is not a Fiat, but owned by them and I'll bet money that those Fiat boys are as happy as a duck in water getting such a quality truck line as the Dodge Ram.
    :) fix or repair daily
Hey I heard ford guys have Chevy guys follow em around to pick up the parts that fall off. :D :smug:

Got a 2013 Dodge ram 1500 Crew "Ourdoorsman". 4th Dodge. Great trucks for a great price are you kidding. Use to be a Ford man until about 10 years ago. Had a bad experince and got the run around by Ford inc. I'd rather walk than own a Ford. However it is American made so its apples and oranges really. I think Fords have a nice look about them but I find I got mor bang for my buck w/ a Dodge.

Yeah, I hear the new measurement for Ram is how much pasta you can haul in the back over to your guinny buddies on Friday night....

Fiat is proud to have rams I hear they were getting tired of the same Sheep every night, now they are getting some new female companionship, will be funny when they figure out it's a truck...

Dead On Day Guarantee Expires, :bag:

All kidding aside, Ford is better...

Well I'm sticking with my big ol fully loaded Dodge as I ain't driving no coke can. Its a 3/4 ton four wheel drive gets over 20 MPG and has every option. There ain't a Ford made that can compare or equal it. And that's a fact jack.

As long as they asemble them in North America, they can hang whatever badge you need to see on them to make you guys happy! I do wonder how those big Rams are going to do on those twisty Italian mountain roads....

Yeah web do. Generally though it's because we run out of gas from hailing all the dodge parts we find in the road

Both are good, my grandfather on my mother side
ran a small chevy buick gmc caddy dealer and I grew
up on Bowties.... hated ford as a kid

Other grandfather ran a dump truck all his life
always had fords, one gmc and it fell apart on him
so he never bought anything but fords, after he passed
I stopped by and the old dump truck was still out back
so my grandmother let me take it for a drive, that was neat.

So evenutally got the 03 F150, 130K later it's still
running like new with 400 hp of supercharged v8
might not tow 15000 pounds of stuff over the oregon
trail but it will flat haul azz...

When obummski sold out the investors and bond holders
of GM and mopar I went fully ford, we have three in the family
f150 edge and Focus, with 130K, 85K and the daughter has close to 30K
none have ever gone back to the dealer for anything...

If it wasn't 10 years old I'd probably just keep driving this one
but I've been looking at new ones...

Dodge trucks look good and the new GM trucks look nice..

But the only USA truck now is a Ford...

I am offically an old fart thinking that way

Maybe I'll get a toyota, the only usa made highest us
content non union made pickup.. LOL

I don't think I would buy diesel again Cowboy. My 6.7 Dodge Turbo Deisel is pretty darn strong. However I don't need a big Deisel any longer. Plus the cost of diesel here is still 3.80-3.99 a galloon where regular is 3:15-3:25.
If I was gonna buy a new truck it would be the Chevy 1/2 ton with the mid sized V8 5.3 in it. I like the looks of it and don't really care if they got bailed out, that's Obummers fault. Dont quit trust that Ford Ecoboost motor yet. But my Dodge is paid for and still running strong plus only have 27000 miles on it and its loaded.

Chevy trucks do look good and they have the best interior and ride of them all.
I can just hear HRK now

They all look pretty good to me. I would stick with Americam made if I could afford to buy a new truck. We all have Fords in our family. Just had front brake & tie rod work done on my F-150 and now I need to put a brake booster in it - brake pedal hisses almost all the way to the floor. No big deal, just time consuming. For the challenge of it, I might just get a booster rebuild kit and try rebuilding the original one.

Fiat's new slogan,If you can't push it or pull it then RAM it. GM never payed back all off their bailout money. So I never do business with someone who borrows my money and doesn't pay me back. The numbers never lie, Ford F series outsells everything. The hoods on Ford F-150's have been aluminum since I believe the 1998 I bought, and have never been and issue that I have heard of. Cummins does make a good diesel, a little noisy but maybe that seems worse because of the tin can interior of a Dodge. Dodge gets someone to build their diesels they should get someone to build the rest of the truck too it would be better. Alot of Dodge drivers I know of have had alot of trouble with tie-rod, ball joint and steering box issues on the 1/2 ton models the last 10 years. Some needing to be replaced by 10 thousand miles.
