Yes, simple. I like to ride so I can get away from the day to day BS. With all those electrionic devises your bringing it all with you. Wheres the fun and relaxation in that.

Ain't got to ride my bike but like 60 miles.
And I gotta say, its the best riding bike I've ever had.
    Automatic built in compression releases.
    Heated hand grips.
The OL freaked out when she asked what kind of bike did we buy.
She really likes how it rides.
I don't know if I could swap the limited for another bike.

The limited is a very nice bike and hope I never have to get ride of one of em. The Springer is a classic and just a great all around bike.

With my OL help , I managed to buy a 1500.00 computer last year and save 5000 for a bike.
If'n I can work all spring summer and fall and save the money.
I'm gonna put it all on the Limited.
OL has tole me if'n I can lay one year off the charge cards so she can pay her 09 nightster off. She would help me.
That way we can git the title in 2 yrs........

I guess where some of the fun and relaxation could come is when you're out on a long ride to meet up with people..I've done that..met some of the folks here in Utah and Arizona and headed out for a weekend ride. I really enjoyed having Satellite radio..tuned in to 60's on 6....that's my way of relaxing and the miles just melt away..tune after tune.....beauty.

And sometimes the sound of your motor touring down the road with just your thoughts and the scenery are simply enough. :)

Yer fun and relaxation is where you make it. You can take it and use it if you need it. and if you don't need it leave it alone.
    Relax.
Its like yer horn on the motorcycle. If you need it Blow it.
If not its just another tool you have at yer disposal.

Life is what you make it.
Seems the big cities are gittin to folks. It got to me when I was in it around so many people everyday.
Been in the country for a while and you don't have the people but you don't make the money either.

CB, once you get out of the stress of the big city you might also live longer.

Dude I moved out of HOuston 5 yrs ago, 88 miles north to Livingston, Tx. on a lake. My wife leaves on monday mornin and drives 100 miles to Katy, Tx, and we got a condo down near the Galleria where she stays during the week.
Friday when she leaves work she heads back up here. TAkes about 2 hours and traffic is hell.
She's 10 yrs younger than me.
She has a good job and likes it.
We couldn't pay the bills without her workin.
What little money I make goes on the scoot.
Now I got Scoot Pymts. Hope to work good this spring, summer, fall and pay a good chunck on it.

    Sure do miss my wife:cussing:

OK, here is the deal on my bike now. CB will probably argue this but it's the way it is. As you know I had a done a tune with a race tuner. My mileage kept running in the mid 30's at normal speeds. Taking it real easy I once got 42 mpg. With conversations with olbill and then with a friend of his at another HD dealer. His suggestion was to get rid of the sert and install the stag 2 HD download for the 255 cams, pips and air cleaner. So I had them do the HD download for my set up that over rode the race tuner.
Today I rode 369 miles up moutain passes and down and cruising around 65-75 all day. My mileage was a consistently
42-45 depending on the mountain passes.
So do you really need the expensive tuners and dyno time. Well in my case it was a waist of about $1000.00.
Yea Im upset with the guy who tuned the bike. I will be talking to them about it. My exhaust is no longer sooting up like a wood burning chimney. So there it is and the bike is just running great. Using my IPhone so hope this OK.

Most tuners do so for power and generally err on the rich side for safety. Lean one burn up run hot ping etc

You should talk with them for sure

Take the 255 EPA cams out and put a set of Woods 555 cams in and git a Thundermax and use the map for the Zippers Redshift 557 cams.
Oh wait, you got the little 02 sensors in yer header pipes.:gah:
