Fuel mileage

    The dealers around here (central ILL) will typically raise both jets 1 size for swap of pipes & air cleaner install at delivery. That will kill your milage. The CV carb for most a/c & pipe combos normally will run good with factory jets & maybe need a shim under the stock needle, with the idle air screw set at 2.5 turns. At most you may have to run a 46 pilot jet with a N72 needle or the stock needle with 2 shims. The main jet 190~195 is normally plenty fat for WOT.

    My Mik42 on my EVO with a mild V-T 2015 cam is setup with a 17.5pilot, -98 needle set in the middle notch, 50 pump jet & 165 main. That setup provides me 50 or sometimes more mpg hyway. I can drop it to low 40's flogging the throttle on a run when acting a fool with my riding buddy's.
