Fueling without spilling

    My area we have the gas nozzles with those clumsy rubber bellows that are supposed to catch any vapors. Unfortunately they also hold excess gas if the previous user didn't shake it out. Then when you go to tilt the nozzle down toward your tank it spills gas all over your ride, which is why I got in the habit of shaking the nozzle on the ground first. There are those "cuffs" and things that keep your tank clean (and your wallet), but I've just always grabbed a paper towel and poke a hole in the middle. Then I just poke the nozzle tip through the hole and let it absorb any gas that dribbles out when filling.

    If you are having trouble picturing how the paper towel works, try asking your senator what he does with a paper towel when visiting an airport bathroom :roflmao:
