Only about 45 minutes west of me, we pretty close to each other:D Did you get a good deal there on your bike, thinking seriously about a new one but haven't decided which, narrowed it down to either a rk or sg.

Man I'd love to get 46 mpg. I get 37 WITH the V-Ductor! No matter how easy I ride it. I figure it's my setup. Stock the bike got 43.

Sounds like you could be running a bit fat. What kind of fuel management system are you running. I've been doing a lot of research on all this the last few weeks and not ready to report my findings yet, still gotta do a bit more testing.

If its a bit fat, ride around and get a good idea of what RPM and throttle position
you spend most of your cruse speeds at and get with Jamie to make some adjustments
to the map in those areas...

Put some masking tape around the throttle. mark 0, 10, 25, 50 75, WOT positions
and put a piece on the controls as the Zero mark so you can be fairly accurate
by just looking at throttle position.

Then you will be able to say "I spend most of my cruise between 15 and 30% throttle at
2500 to 3500 RPM, the map could be tweaked to improve fuel mileage in that area

no not me, I'am is southwest la. and most all the flooding is south central and s.e. Gotta feel bad for those people, but also think they should realize when they build in a flood plan area this can happen even if its 20 years apart.
