    Call ricky
ask him if it wasn't sprinklin rain and why he has my trailer

    Been trying to tell everybody.

What goes on at yer place and what goes on around the lake is entirely different.

You can see the temps for downtown livingston.
YOu can come and look at the weather thermometer here and it can be 5-7 * difference.

Haven't tried an 011 yet. If they are better than the previous like everyone is saying, then I am sure I will like it too. Just from the little experience that I have with them, I was not impressed at all. I took that 08 xbones out and I though that tranny did better than the 010 on the street glide. I realize the weight difference, but just was my reaction.

Got on a 10 CrossBones to go on a 30 mile ride.
From the time I left I wanted off the bike.
Really don't fit me. And I don't like the way it rides. I sit too high on it and it is very uncomfortable.
This bike must be for a short person or a girl.
And if yer a girl a street glide would be a much better riding bike or a deluxe for you. Then you got Bags on the SG.

Same tranny, just a difference in weight. But if your used to a 5 speed you have to remember that the new 6th gear is meant for long haul touring so the RPM's will be lower which should give better fuel mileage. I say it should!

I agree that the CrossBones sits a little too high. I am a little shorter so I would take that spring seat off and put a seat on that sits in the pocket that is right where the rear fender meets the frame to mount. The SG was nice, but I jsut did not like the set up of it.

My 2011 pulls good at 55mph in 6th gear. I would hate to think of having a 5 speed instead of a 6 in my bike.

Nearly bought a Street Glide instead of my bike. It had a Ultra Tour pack on it.D&D fat cat pipes. SE 255 cams, heavy breather. Deep bucket seat, Chrome mag wheels and a lot of other things.
But I ride my wife a lot. I wouldn't of had lowers and the bike wouldn't of served its purpose.

Rode a 11 SE SG, man that bike rode really really great.
And it had hard lowers with speakers in them. They rocked.
It blew the radio away that was on the SE RG Ultra
