Screw buying a GPS from Harley. On my ride over the weekend I saw a couple that had a regular ol' car Garmin Nuvii and they had said that it worked perfect. I asked them if it has ever gotten wet and they had said that it has many times and keeps ticking. Not only that, I found a really cool mount that they had. It was mad by an engineer that they know. I said that I wanted one. They gave me his number and am about to order one. I post a pictue when I do order it, it is pretty slick. :D

It has been a little while and I am just starting to buy what it is that I need. So there is a kit that I can buy that will allow audio transmission of what it is that I need to do and through my speakers? I am using just a regular ol' Garmin Nuvii Thanks HRK....

all you need is the RF cable Male to Male to go from the GPS to the front AUX on the radio.
basic setup, now if you want to run the eyedroidpandora stuff you're screwed because you have one input for AUX.

To run mutilple inputs at one time you need the NIM Nav Interface Module and a Zumo from HD to work with it, the cradle and harness...

If I had a droid I'd just pop the droid in a cradle on the mount above and load the GPS app and pandora app, get themusic going and then flip apps to GPS..

You best have a charge setup that stuff eats battery time up

Ok. Then I guess I am screwed because I would have to have some music as I am riding. I am going to hardwire the gps to the fuse box or the aux switch so I have power to the unit at all times and can just disconnect iit from the bike when I am not using it.

Thanks, I am upgrading my maps now.
