Plus times change, you don't have to like it, but its gonna happen regardless

like 17 v s 16, JMO the trend is better looking wheels, outside of spokes
old HD wheels were not all that sharp compared to what they can do today with the new 3 and 5 axis cnc machines. Nicer wheels, people
want to see them, a 12 inch brake rotor on a 16 inch rim leaves 2 inch on each side of wheel. Bigger wheel you get to see more also with bigger wheels you can install bigger rotors and better calipers for better braking.

Bigger isn't always better and more isn't always the answer. I guess HD catering to the masses by competing with Honda (water cooled) explains why almost every ahole and his pivot man has a HD and why more and more riders are opting out of HD. To be " different"

Fatboy ya need to ride the victory cross country or cross roads , two very good riding bikes with enough power to cruise with ease
PS I rode the Vison, ugly as all get out , but handled like a sport bike , lay a curve like a sport bike & enough power to hall asz & that was the 100 before the 106 came out

Yep but the dealer only has '15's in and he couldn't loan one out. So I have the Vegas for 10 days free.

If you don't plan on doing any highway miles then you won't need a six speed.

Not like I do with my Road Glide. I don't like 6 speeds. I prefer 5 speeds. Unfortunately the next bike I buy will have the six speed and will have to get rid of it.
