This is what somebody that read the book and posted the link had to say

In warmer weather I will carry a 9mm w/ 124 gr. +P Ranger T's. I have no reservations that it will do the job I'm asking of it. , the only reservation I hold is that with all the modern 9mm hollow points they do not have a good track record against multiple layers of clothing. If they get plugged up with clothing they will not expand reliably, and if they don't expand you just as soon be lobbing FMJ's at em, over pennetration will occur. If more than 1 layer of clothing will likley be encountered, you can bet you a$$ that I'll be packing a .45 with 230 Ranger T's, I don't use plus P with these pills, the additional recoil, and flash they produce only make follow up shots take too long. In either case I will not get off the trigger until the threat is down.
One other thing to think about: no one thats been in a gunfight has ever said "Man I wish I had my little gun"

I like a 40 or a 45 myself. I want more lead hittin the person
More lead means more knock down power and more bleeding.

Re read, penetration is key 12 min, must hit vital organ, only real kill is a straight brain shot
people won't die from a kidney shot.

357Sig tops them all, check the ballistics, you can convert a 40 to a 357Sig...

CB, what do you really know about penetration, and we ain't talking about sex either. When a bad guy is in your home, empty the hole magazine into the center of their chest that way you bleed em out. Sounds gross, yea but it will keep you and your wife alive. Try for a head shot you'll probably miss. 9mm or a 40 ain't gonna matter. Placement matters, unless your shooting a 5 inch cannon.

When I had a locksmith business, I knew a gun range owner. I bought guns for 10% over cost.
Back then I was makin good money. Just didn't seem to keep much of it.
    Bought 3 bass boats
Was lookin for him the other day. The name had changed. Guess he might of retired.
But I've found a federal licensed dealer.

The day I picked it up I went straight to the gun range. Didn't clean it just shot it. This is a target at 15 yards. Threw one out when a guy next to me Fired off his 45 just as I was squeezing off the trigger. With a trigger job I can put em all in the 10X or 10 ring.
