like some old costco and hf bike lifts/floor jacks everyone I know pulled
the stock chinese grade 1 bolts out and put in nice new American Grade 8

Maybe a good idea to replace all the bolts on that lift.

Now that you torqued it ...

It bent the frame at the bottom where the bolt goes in it.
Got to work on the frame and the 20ton jack will not release either.

With winter gittin close to being around the corner , that will mean boatin season is over.
If I want a bike table I will probaly have to go out and dissassemble the table and try to straighten the piece up, now that i'm over being scared of it and try to see if I can make it stronger there and repairin it.
Cause I will probaly run out of funds before next spring.

Took the Spyke starter off my bike friday nite and put the stock starter back on and it was a lot harder on me doing it in the floor .
    Workin in the floor sux's....:gah:

The Stock starter made it not leak oil anymore.

It turns a little slow and the starter drive and abbendix is messed up.
It will slip everynow and then.

I wanted a new High torque starter to spin it faster so it will crank easier.

Spyke says their high torque starter is vented for the pressure buildup from the primary.
I never knew the primary build up pressure.

I don't believe the stock starter is vented for the primary.
This is what I've been askin for somebody to answer for months now.
Ean at Spyke sent me a shippin label, I'm on my way to ship the starter back to them in California.
If they are gonna give me my money back or try to give me another starter I don't know.
But I'm tired after 3 starters of squirtin degreeser on the bike and washin it down to git the oil off everything. And I mean everywhere:gah:

yeah that would suck, if you have no oil from stock, have you changed the gearing on the clutch basket and starter jackshaft, that can assist with battery life and starting power.

    I don't have a jackshaft............
If I had a jackshaft that might seal the gear on the end of the starter.
My starter sticks straight into the primary. And there is a gear that shoots out the end of the starter.
