    I never done one, just knew some guy who have , sporsterboy here did a hardtail weld on to his 03 sporty , & he's a welder by trade try a pm to him eather will look good

    If you can't weld, then bolt on would be best, plus you can go back to stock.

    You will need an alignment jig or build one on a table to keep it straight if you weld...

    My question is with the offer to go riding today, why are you still on here?

    By the time you purchase all the parts and find someone to weld it together you could have bought another Sporty. Then ya can trade them both in for a big boy ride. You sure you haven't been inhaling the exhaust in a closed area? :roflmao::roflmao:
