    i would never put oil in an unprotected area,,,,,especially on the bottom of the bike. got a link on this snake oil water injection you speak of??????????:rolleyes:

    why not chuck think you might hit a small rock & knock a hole in it ?& get oil all over the rear tire & have slip out from under ya & burn up the engine all at the same time ?

    I agree that this can be a real issue. But I guess then it makes me wonder why they would make such a thing if it was a real problem. Check the links out for the water injection, they are very interesting.

    At one point I had seen a picture of a harley Touring bike that had an injection kit installed on it but I can't find it at the moment. This stuff is interesting. i talked to a few guys at work about this and they had mentioned that they used to do this to their cars back in the day so this is not a new thing.

    Here's my opinion Johnny:
    Find a custom hard tail frame on ebay that some other guy bought new for his custom bike (there's lots of them for about $700 or so) but then his wife got pregnant and now he's selling said frame at a sweet discount. Take the parts off your sporty and use them and some nice new parts (open belt drive, oh yeah baby) and then finish it off with a nice custom paint job and end up with sweet looking "big" bike.
    Just my 2 cents.

    But seriously I'm with Tommyc if you want custom, do frame up exactly as you want. It will be your custom as opposed to a conversion kit and a hogmash of other parts.
    If you want a springer front end anyways, your buying 3/4s of a totally new custom & it's still a skirtster oh sorry Sportster :cool:

    Heck, I didn't even get out of bed until 8:30 today, felt good stretching out and no visions of fat girls either, at least not until I got on here, yuk I'm still sick :puke:
    As for the boots, not very sexy, I like the bright white one with that slick look that go up to just below the knees with those sexy black fishnet nylons attached with garter belts :D :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: yea right.
