This is old news. Not, as it says "another" problem. Problem was solved a month ago. So far only 2 re-calls.

You know, now that I look at it(air bag), It doesn't seem as stupid as I thought. Just keep it as an option, not the law.

Charlie don't need an airbag he has the E.I.M.A.S. (emergency inflatable motorcycle air suit). The bike seat has a micro switch in it. Once it senses you azz off the seat the suit inflates in micro seconds protecting him from harm. He'll need to order the EIMASA (emergency inflatable motorcycle air suit anchor). Otherwise he may bounce all the way back to NY!

The name is Joan Claybrook! She was an understudy of Ralph Nader and she was the director of the NHSTA . She was in office in the late 70's into the 80's and she hated motorcycles. She was the one who pushed mandatory helmet laws onto the states and spent research money on motorcycle air bag suits ( no joke) and air bags. She also tried to get displacement limited. She was a real POS.

Isn't it really interesting how one person can control or make laws for all the rest of us dumb people.

The really bad thing is that once stupid, repressive laws go into effect, it's darn near impossible to get them repealed. The damage remains long after the person (or persons) are voted out of office.
