Only for about two years and it
was forced on me by employment LOL

Back on topic I got the filter for $15 and change and
replaced it AC cools very well, probably first time in years its worked
    without that restriction.

Now on to the CE codes, bad AF sensor on bank 1 which of course
on a transverse V6 is the back one by the firewall and I'll have to climb
under the dang thing, and $180 each. found it on rock auto for $118 and
it's just a frigging toyota sensor.

Of course Japanese cars never break or have issues LOL

I think I'll just exchange the Bank 1 Sensor as it's the only one falsing and giving off errors and see if that fixes the problem.

Generally depending on which code it is the sensor if it's only a single sensor code for one bank. At least as far as upstream O2's go.

Yeah it's Upstream, from what I read the P0125 Toyota code appears with the P1130/P1135 codes, both the latter are improper operation of Bank 1 Sensor 1 being upstream.

The P0125 is a failure to reach coolant temps for proper closed loop operation, but its doubtful that the Thermostat is stuck open. I could change it but I think I'll swap out the O2 as from what I can read the bad O2 triggers the P0125

yer not gonna get it that easy from under there ! just behind the plenum you can get it looks tight but once you break it loose it actually not to bad from up top . ya got a heater code or a lean bank 1 sensor one code ? if its a heater code it is bad for sure they short all the time . if its a lean code mass air flow sensor wire is dirty and is the cause for the lean code for sure . lets see 99 lexsus valve cover gaskets leaking . cam and crank seals leaking . might as well do the t belt water pump and tensioner and idler . plugs and wires whiie the plenum off for the valve cover leak the back ones . soaked for sure youll see it on your fore arm while your cussing to get it out . lol did I screw up your day yet. best motor the japs made . best money maker that comes in for maint . work . p.s, you just saved that evaporator by that cabin filter change and your blower motor thanks ya!

motor wont go into closed loop cause short term fuel trim cant keep long term in check . with a bad sensor heater at start up . so it wont look at ect . for feed back any more . till it re monitors o2 sensor heater circuit at start up once codes are clear . and it remonitors constants again . obd 2 theory and operation. epa

Thanks I'll go at it from the underside, jack it up put on stands and remove the sensor, I can get at it from there figure the reports that it's always the back side 1 sensor have to be right because it's the PIA one to get at.

Not gonna do a lot it runs good other than this code, it's the parents car, 90 K in 14 years and 30 of that was probably my wife in first three LOL or more, they put maybe 4 to 5 on it a year if that.

Figure it best to replace it so I don't have cat going bad, I just got to get the sensor. Friggin things are expensive found it online for a decent price.

Maybe I should just bring it south for some work LOL
