You can git Xenon Hid lights a much cheaper. And you can git the K of light you want. I have 6000 k H 9 lights at 35 watt. Might change my high beam out like my buddy did and out 8000 K for high and leave the low beam at
    6000K
    Xenon Bargains.
I emailed them and told them the kind of bike I had and about what I wanted.
They emailed me back and told me the model of the kit for a motorcycle that I wanted.
The Balast for the motorcycles are much smaller and is plug and play.

I would email them and ask them which set is for a RoadGlide.
Then you can order the set. I would git them in 35 watt. Not 55 watt.
Then you can determine the K of power that you want.
You got to buy it for two headlight man. You got two headlights burn'n up front. You got a pretty good amount of light. The Xenon Hid would even be more.

The difference in the cars hid and the motorcycle Hid is the size of the Ballast and you have to run a power wire on the cars.
The motorcycle is plug and play .

That's why I like my Ultra, it has the driving lights as well as the headlight. Put the PIAA bulb in it and got my spots wired in to stay on when the brights are even on. It don't need anymore lights, super bright set up this way.

No LED for RG yet, so it's not even an option.

H4 bulbs in the RG so you need a dual kit
two ballasts and two bulbs, Bi-Xenon is hi/lo
and you don't want to go over 4300K all it does
is change the color of the light not the amount
of light, the higher the K the bluer then purple the
light becomes, 6000K at the max

Get a bike kit with the thin ballast and put a relay on the
power to ballast feed as what eats them up is low
voltage which is what happens when you start
it's why some HID's will come on and go out
as the volts surge. The guy I got mine from
includes a relay for the ballast that is plug n play.

For the money the new ZXE Zenon filled Silverstar 9003
bulbs are as white and bright as HID and easy to replace
I mentioned it in the other thread to you as you can see
the yellow halogen bulbs in the picture.

We had the silverstar bulbs in before we went to the SE dual bulbs and the xenon HID with the H9 bulbs and the very, very small and thin ballast.
I had bi xenon before that. Didn't like Bixenon as well.
I thought you had one bulb for high and one bulb for low on a RG.

If I had a roadglide I'd have to email xenonbargains and ask.

They make some driving lights that will mount to your engine guards that will give you even more light on those dark nights. They don't even lok to bad either.

Don't confuse clutter with safety. The better you can see at night the safer the ride will be.

The running lights on a Eg have 881L bulbs in them. The 881L is 27.5K
Go to Auto Zone and git 894L clear tip bulbs and put them in. The 894L clear tip is 35K It makes a difference.

Hey I'm not trying to replace the headlight. The spots pointed just right and when the brights are even on they really help light up the sides of the roads. I can see the hair standing up on a deers neck even when they are in the bushes.

Johnny, I got an aftermarket H.I.D. headlight a couple years ago and like it. It was about $150, easy to install, and is brighter than the original halogen, but the company vanished. Fortunately, it's working good. Couple of nice features are that it only uses 15 watts (easier on your electrical system), and has no filament to burn out--should last many years.
