Thinking of buying one for my road king. HD claims it directs the air up and over the rider's head. Anyone bought one -- pros and cons. It's a lot of money to spend just to find out it doesn't perform as expected.

I have a shorter Harley screen on my Ultra that has a small flip on the top that really helps. I wanted it more for bugs so they would not fly right into my 1/2 helmet. Have seen those screens your talking about and the riders who have them say they work pretty good.

You're talking about the new one with the extended on the outer lower parts, right? If so a friend of mine got one on his FLHX and he loves it, especially in the rain

I gotta look that one up. If it protects better on the lower part than the one I have I may have to get one. I'm tired of the wind coming UP from under my Regular HD windshield and hitting me on the chin and nose

    Its an aftermarket.

For the softail check out Klock Werks they have a
new shield for the softails that is curved and will help with the air flow..

or you can save a lot of money & just get the chrome spears that bolt the side of the windshield , they block the wind from coming up from the bottom ,I gave a set to my buddy for his R king & he says there great , I've seen them on fatboys & heratige

Thanks Cowboy I've seen them but wasn't sure if they worked. I'll let Santa know. After all I have been a good boy the past day or two!
