    I decided to redo the bottom end with the welded balanced and lighter crank even though I do not do much racing at all. I may kick a butt or two on the street but I mainly want quality, durability, longivety with the ability to take care of street biz.

    Agreed 100%.(to Above) The straight bearings cannot handle the side loading forces that a Timken can. The fact that some wrenches believe that ma***ulating a stock case could weaken it are valid, I personally adapt any stock case over 95 inch and or High compression...
