Some photos of the York,pa assembly plant lobby. Got our money's worth....over 2 hours long. It was amazing to see the touring models built from 6 pieces of tubes up!

There's one thing you have over me is being close to the Harley plants. That's pretty cool that you could do that.
I had an older bike with a handle bar mounted GPS and remember going over a river on the bridge that was a bit bumpy. All of a sudden a gust of wind came up and my GPS went straight up and over the bridge and into the river. Good job grabbing it, fast hands. :)

Luck on my part. It was desperate Hail Mary reach.

On another note both hotels sucked. The first one in lake harmony a quality inn was wreck. We were one of maybe 3couples staying,it looked abandoned, recessed in the woods. Kinda creepy. We go in and first thing we see is a gaggle of Muslims. Later two Jamaican guys with dreadlocks, finally a couple of Russian looking gangsters. That was it. The room was filthy with water bottle on the floor and one of the beds with chocolate stains under the sheets. Second bed was clean. Breakfast was real good with tons of sausage, bacon, hash browns eggs etc..

The second room in lancaster was a days inn. Clean, nice and when I went for breakfast the next morning the place was packed with rude and ignorant people from France. Whenever they bumped into you or reached over you they never said excuse me. I said numerous times don't you people say excuse me. WTF! They would just look at me with a blank stare. Old folks too. Pieces of shit.

The French are a half a notch above the Arabs in my book.

I've heard that the French people are like that. Went to a few places where the Japanese people were there in droves and same thing, very very rude. They would push in front of you to be first in line. We missed a bus one time because of it. The second bus came and they started the same crap again. Well I went right into the middle of them and started pushing them aside. Told the wife stay right behind me. When on the bus we got a lot of stares from them and told them you people are a bunch of rude jerks. Don't think they understood except for the tone of my voice. :)

Tour pics were neat, if I'm ever in the area I'll have to take the tour. If there's a clothing retailer nearby I'll be able to drop the wife somewhere...

The japs are used to living that way in over crowded japan. They have guys hired in the subways to push people into the doors so that they can close. The French just think they are gods gift to mankind. From what a buddy that travels there often says it's mainly the Paris French the country French love Americans.

Amish country. Buggy ride,Amish farm, pumpkin patch, cows and who never leave that position. Amish farmer said they get more milk then if they let them out to pasture. No shoveling manure anymore either. Under the cows is a grate covered drop zone and which gets channeled by sump to a collection point.

When I was in my 20's the Amish wouldn't talk to an "Englander". We used to converse with Menenites who aren't as strict in their beliefs.

After the ride and before we left I asked EJ the driver in the straw hat if in return for giving us a ride on his horse and buggy would he like a ride on mine. He thought for moment, laughed and then declined politely. I was serious I would have given him a ride.

Riding in the rain today. In and out of showers. Worst part was the 10miles of freshly scarified interstate. It just don't feel right. Especially with heavy traffic.
