Very cute and meaningful. Great history. Five years is the most common recommendation for helmet replacement now. Has to do with secondary impact protection I believe.

B.I., I've been laid up with a bad back since yesterday - no riding for a while and may have to stay home today. Really sucks . . .

Interesting helmet - I've not seen one like that before.

Sorry to hear that JB. We're probably heading back wednesday most likely instead of Thursday. We'll be back in December but on the truck.

I hope you feel better and maybe in December we can catch a dinner?

That would be awesome. Today I spent the day very carefully hobbling along. Ran into a friend at the local grill at breakfast time and he gave me some meds and they helped tremendously with the back pain. A couple more days and I should be past the worst of it.

I hope to be up and riding by Friday . . .

Oh sure a friend gave you some "meds" Yeah right. Do you take the meds through a bong? Ha! Well whatever the "meds" are I hope you heal quick.

It's possible there was a little of both ha-ha, plus I drank a cup full of good red wine. Now I'm ready for a good night's sleep. Back hurt no more .

B.I., I have a new phone number - PM me for it.

Hey now! Slept in and left at 11am. Called it a day after 320 miles and at 4pm. 85 degres and blue skies. Medium to heavy traffic, not bad. I think we are in Harrisonburg just off I-81. Waiting for chinese delivery..happy family (name of the meal) and fried rice bottoms up.

Ran well. Ran 80-85mph most of the time. Infotainment center was most useful and entertaining.

The best parts of the ride was meeting and talking to people and other riders on the road.

I-84 east was backed up at least 5 miles just before the I-87 juncture. I mean a dead stop. I rode the break down lane all the way till it opened up just before the bridge. Never did find the accident the illuminated sign posted.
