This was the bike and we added a trunk to it. We put a lot of miles on that bike. Second owner a retired cop totaled it.

Yep, you found out my secret. I didn't die. Me and Elvis hang out together here on the island. He's the one who took the photo.

Heading out to Reno at 7AM this morning. Weather looks like no rain on the way there or on the way home. Still carrying the rain gear with me to make sure the rain stays away.

    Miss you FLHTbiker".......

Re reading this thread caused me to pause, reflect and not realizing at the time a ride isn't always a happy ending. I guess its why i always say the best part of a trip is arriving home safe.

I was going through past months posts. Got to this one. Broke my heart again. Still not over the loss of his friendship.

If its not to insensitive of me and i apologize in advance if it is, as it is not my intention, was it discerned whether or not it was mechanical or medical that caused the accident?

Cause wasn't determined but consensus among fellow riders that morning was it wasn't mechanical. Either had a med episode or fell asleep.

I'd lean towards possible medical given his medical hx. God rest his soul.
