This is more of an OCD thing. My engine is still making the same power it was.

Something isn't right IMO. The ccp difference is telling me that they aren't the same. I want to know why.

Its a good slug mtc has been known to go out of there way to work with engine builders to help make power . They will build a piston to your spec. If jamie uses them you know it must be good .i have not used there pistons myself.

If you truly had OCD you couldn't type it that way, it
would have to be CDO so that it is in correct order.

Both came out of the same cometic packages. I have never seen them boxed wrong anything is possible bath had the same part numbers.i have never been able to drop 10 psi on a gasket change though. It would have to be a real thick gasket to see that much drop. From one to the other we used 0.30 gaskets .i would have had to put almost a fifty in one and tjats thick .lmfao

I just think that like BP is saying that either the valves were sunk too low or just that big if a discrepancy in chamber volume.

Well I can't honestly say. I know I said that I wanted them cc ' ed and to match. And like BaggerPaul mentioned, a 10 psi difference. Front was the low one.

Assembly was meticulously done that's for sure. Only other thing that I can think of is we clearanced the rocker covers that we didn't take out just enough material and a valve is being held open just a smidge.

been busy do the new side by side rod drag motor (ill post some pics)!! sounds like who ever did his heads wasn't the right guy.im sure its not deck height.both heads should be done the same as far as protrusion & valve job goes,so even if they wernt cc`ed & were wrong for the compression your looking for, they should still be the same
