On longer rides I want to listen to some music. Not having a fairing equipped bike or wanting to install speakers on my handlebars, I've tried a few different helmet mounted systems claiming to have good sound. All sucked. BUT, I ordered a pair of helmet speakers that will plug into an Iphone or any other device with a standard plug and they sound EXCELLENT! Iasus Concepts sells X Sound 2 speakers that come with a volume control in the cable. I mounted these in my Shoei Neotec and the sound is amazing. Note that you may want to boost the available sound by ordering their amp that is also in the line cord with a volume control.
The on-line store for them is www.iasuslogistics.com BE aware that my order came incomplete (I ordered a Premium Waterproof Volume Control and so far it hasn't come. I have PayPal looking into the matter.

Posted years back , sena sells the smh10 headset. You can bluetooth them in to yer headset. No wires or nothing.

And I see you bought a Shoei Neotec. How do you like it ?

For a modular helmet I love it. Tried a Sena music quality sucked. Tried a Scala it really sucked, tried a third and it was bad too.

Got stereo quality speakers I can put in the helmet.
But it comes with a cord.
And when I get on and off the bike and I'm hooked to cords I start fighting .
    CAn't have cords period.

Sena is pretty good to me being wireless.

course I don't have to have the best quality sound riding down the hiway running 80mph.

Yep I'd love to have wireless that's why I spent a bundle trying 3 units. If were just interested in cellphone and GPS or talking to other bikes they would be fine for me. But, I like music, I'm an old guitar wanna be superstar and the music has to sound decent. JMO

Well on my bagger I just go with the cord, it really is not all that bad. CB, you can go with the J&M setup as they have the half cord so when you get off the bike you just disconnect the lower half. I also like putting the music on just my outside speakers and crank it up while heading down the highway. I've got speakers mounted in my half helmet as it has pockets in the flaps for them. Works pretty good but so far can't stand a full face helmet. Bad enough wearing a 3/4 helmet.

Look at the Sena SMH 10 setup that bluetooths, then look at the J&M.
Everything J&M makes is super expensive. And can be had by another mfg cheaper than John sells it.

Got the JM premium speakers for my helmet, they work great
and the sound is even better than the JM or HD normal set.

I'd prefer to not have the cord, but that's the way it works if
you want CB, Ipod Access, Radio and intercom, can't have that
with the BT options or Sena units so thats why I skipped over
    them.

HD's new radio has BT but it won't work with your helmet BT
WTF is up with that, really there are three BT types, and HD only selected
the one that allows phones to connect to the head unit, no comm.

    How fuggin stupid is that...

Posted an article a while back about how to get the music out of yer radio and blue tooth it to yer headset. But I sees you didn't look at it.
It comes threw a bluetooth device you plug into yer plug on yer console where yer wired headset goes.

Some people don't want the speakers blasting going down the hiway,
And you can hear the stereo much better in a helmet.

The dude with Biketronics when I was talking to him telling him about I was hard of hearing. He even asked me if I had ever thought about getting speakers in my helmet.

I see ya don't get what I'm saying, that is the new radios on the 14 and up have blooteef, and you can't run the helmet to it, won't work, no microphone etc, all it does is hook up to the phone they didn't put all the features in the BT.

Thats stupid, and I don't want no 500 bt connector.

The sound of the music on my outside speakers of my CVO is fantastic.
