Your the one hard of hearing CB, I like my stock headset but most of the time I use my outside speakers which give better sound. Don't matter if you don't like em as others do. :)

    I fight cords.

Might of been hung in another life.
But don't like being restrained and not have control.

I pretty well keep my eyes on my rear view mirrors. So I can change lanes when needed.
And so I know where the traffic is around me.

Yeah,"pretty well". Every once in a while I'm sure everyone's attention to traffic was the sound of tires. because we're not perfect and we slip up. And if you think nothing gets past your vision you're kidding yourself. I'll take all the input I can get, I'm only saying, for me, helmet speakers take away the sound that MAY save me from a spill. I can use the helmet speakers and hear stuff around me.
I don't turn them up to Blast me out of my helmet.

My only handicap is the other people that drives around me.

I been riding motorcycles for 50 yrs.
Think I'm doing a pretty good job myself.

Normally close to the Yellow line.
There is never the same thing.
I ride in different places in the lane. Sometimes I ride next to the yellow line so I can see in front of what is in front of me so I might be able to tell what may pop out from under the vehicle.
If a big truck is coming I move over to the right.

But where do you stop at when the cars in front of you stop for a red light

When riding behind a cage I usually ride in a position on there left side so that they can see me either in there left mirror and rear view mirror at the same time.

AND if the bozo in the cage behind ya is texting and don't stop they hit the bozo in the cage in front of ya.
