upload your image into the showcase, then reference it's URL by right mouse clicking,
select copy image URL, then edit your signature and paste the URL

you don't need an app for photobucket
    just go to www.photobucket.com

    then setup your own account
it's easy to upload you just go to the web page and then
on your pc click on the image file and drag it to photobucket web upload page
    even joshbob could do it...

Ya'll make it sound so simple. It is once you've done it a few times. It took me the better part of a full day to get a photo to photobucket and then back to where I wanted it. That was before the latest changes to photobucket. The new drag option is nice I'll have to admit. But I stumbled onto Imageshack. I have a Mac and WAY BACK THEN Imageshack had an app you could download and that was a God send. Moving pics around became a breeze. But until you have been successful moving a photo around, it's still a pain. Even with help! I can understand someone not wanting to try. I've written up every move you have to take and some people see it and their eyes glaze over and they freeze. Best I've been able to do is have someone phone me and walk them through that way. And that is still iffy. So easy to get one step out of sink. But I'd be willing to try walking anyone through the process if they need it. But a Mac and a PC using Windows is apples and oranges. It can be done but both parties have to have patience.

It would be much easier if it could be done on here like the old system could.

Okay, thanks. I'll try it . . . funny, but I didn't use photobucket to get my new avatar - I got it directly off my computer. I'm still not sure how I did it LOL.

I got as far as getting the picture I wanted on photobucket, but there was no "paperclip" to click onto. Man, I clicked everywhere, went back and forth, etc. What a nightmare . . .

bring up the picture on photobucket,
to the right you'll see 4 boxes, select the one for URL and click in the box
it should change color and say copied.

Then come back here and paste.

Follow what Ken said I was using an Ipad. It will work. You just need to copy the Image URL and then past that under your signature here. Again putting it in the image URL

I left clicked the box that said URL; it changed color and said "copy". Went to my signature thingy on BT, clicked on it and no picture comes up.

Well, this time, I got as far as "copy" at least . . . o_O.

Good pic though. I had to reduce my springer pic down to a smaller size to. In photobucket you can that under resize, trial and error Joshbob. :D

Pretty soon you'll be teaching others.

I seriously doubt it LOL. Anyway, somehow the picture isn't a signature picture. It only showes up in the post above :arghh:.

Went back to photobucket and I now have 3 images and one is blurry and one is the size of a postage stamp :banghead.

And I haven't figured out how to get rid of the X IMG box just to the lower right of my avatar.

You didn't get it into the sig portion probably then. Keep workings it. I would always use the original pic each time you try and resize it in photobucket. I think I used 250 wide and around 175 high.

you have the url for the image outside the [sig] boxes

it should be pasted between them, that's the image
delete it, then copy and paste your image url between the sig boxes
