If Prodrag can't build you one of these engines they can't be built.

Listen to somebody that does this stuff everyday for a living.
You ain't gonna be smarter than him.

    C/B I agree 100%.

The reason I started this thread is b/c
#1: I like to tinker with mechanical things, it's my hobby and I love to ride fast.
#2: I have to old shovelhead Harleys that I rebuilt and know inside and out and I want to move on to the next motor style bike, that being an EVO.
#3: I don't have $6,500 cash in the bank shell out for a new pro-built motor.
#4: I can only afford to build a new bike if I buy it 1 part at a time and build it myself because I have 3 kids, 1 wife, 2 cars, 2 cycles, 2 bicycles, 2 dogs, 8 fish and a frickin Gekco, okay so give me a dam break.

Might be able to get a flywheel assembly for the Gekco.:roflmao:

Kirby's list in post 12 would give you a good idea of what parts to start looking for...Delkron or S&S block and S&S stroker flywheel assembly would be what I'd want in the bottom to start on a good solid foundation, then depending on the size engine you want you could go with bored HD,Axtell or S&S jugs, then a set of Harley heads and get them worked...it will cost more in the long run,but if you can only afford one piece at a time, well, you gotta do what ya gotta do;)

    Thanks Luci.
The evo project is on hold as of right now.
I decided to take my blue bike apart and powder coat the frame. That will keep me busy for a while. I also took the motor apart to find out what trashed my oil pump. Gonna fix a few other things while it's apart too.
