When you got a new bike a dealer will do a lot to make you happy and take care of you.
HD gives each dealer so much money each year. Forgot what its called.
But they are suppose to use it on customers bikes to make them right and happy.
They did that with me till my 2 yr warranty ran out.
Should of gott'n a extended waranty over 2 yrs.

I bought the extended warranty on this bike cause its gonna be my last new Harley. :D I know that's what my wife said but it really is.

CB, our dealer treats everyone like that.

Notised that HD came down in prices on their web site.
Also read they been laying a lot of folks off.
Especially where they build the motors.

If I don't spend my money in a couple years I might git a new Harley, and git a extended warranty on it. Been saving some money if'n a project don't come and take it away.
Might let the dealer do the cams and pipes and leave it there. Keep my bike to play with.
But I will probaly still put a Thunder-Max onit.
Not goin with a Sert, TTS mastertune, nor PCV,

If you like the bagger and you have
one older than 09, then it's a great
time to swap over, get the 103 kit
and have them put in 255 cams at
    delivery, it's over 100/100 then.

New frame and fat rear tire
makes the bike handle way better
    rides better, runs great...

I may trade my 09 in on an 11
    this year as the warranty
is up, and get a 103 Ultra RG.

If you can keep your hands
    out of the upgrade catalog
    and trade every two years
it's pretty easy to get a new
bike without a lot of cash...

That is kinda what I did when I upgraded to the 2011 with the 103. I had em put in the 255 cams but I also had them put the Vance and Hines power duels before I even picked up the bike.

Trade it in after only 2 years??? You don't have enough miles to even know the motorcycle yet! Well, you might, but I get attached to my baby and don't want to let her go. This one has 55,000 miles in only 2 years, and I'm not giving her up for anything. The last one I had (HydraGlide) for 25 years and put 185,000 miles on her. Lots of good memories.

If using synth oil is bad for an engine during break in, how come so many cars come right from the factory with synth oil?

To keep from using my charge card. I was walkin into Walley World and gittin
Mobile 1 or Synthetic Castrol Harley Oil.
And I'm a Amsoil dealer but I have to use my charge card.

With the Limited I'm only gonna use Syn3 oil in all 3 holes.

I'm a MVP member and can git a break on it. The more I buy the brake goes up till it hits 15% off.

And FLHT my Oil pressure guage stays around 32lbs of pressure.

Man, even the lead mechanic at the HD shop hear who is a master builder and big time racer does not recommend using Syn3 in all three holes. He even likes Mobile 1 V-twin for the engine and a oil designed for the gear box only. The primary he recommended Harley oil made for that specif or another oil designed also for that purpose. He said never put Syn 3 in all three. It will make the engine run louder and will have more wear in the trans.

Got a 5 yr unlimited warranty milage warranty man.

I ran Amsoil 75-140 in the other bike and had all the bearing in the tranny replaces once under warranty.
I would like to run Redline heavy shock oil in the tranny.

That is what I run in my tranny's and what the builder here recommended.
