Sorry I haven't posted much. Been working and studying up on the new bike, especially the infotainment stuff. Its been a week since I got my 2015 Ultra Low. Haven't ridden 2 up yet. Have had to work and only have a couple 100 miles on the bike. Hoping to have our 1st 2 up riday Sunday/Monday.

Me and the Mrs finally have 2 consequetive days off, the kids are trying to pawn the grands off on us. I'd love to help under other circumstances and we help alot but this is 1 of only 2 sunday/mondays we get off together a year. And riding season is fading fast here.

Get out there and have some fun. It'll be interesting to get your take on how the lowered Rushmore handles two up as opposed to the old bike. I've been super busy. Got the FXR back together should get out for a spin hopefully before the snow hits. Ride safe

Looking cautiously forward to that as well. I need to keep reminding myself on this new bike not to get to cocky and stay cautious and vigilant for now. Everything about this new Low setup really makes for a competent and confident high speed performance. Makes me want to ride hard and with a song in my heart. Take the corners a little more sharper/ faster. I'm not use to having this much feeling of control over an Ultra.

It'll probably take more then a few 2 up excursuions to dial up the suspension appropriately.

OR, you may need a few more months of single riding in order to explore the handling characteristics of the bike in Oder to be totally safe pilot for when the wife joins ya. Once that is put forth, get carving!

I been riding ultras since 2007. Always a struggle when 2 up but managed to ride to California ,Nova Scotia ,key west, outer banks ,Kentucky,Tennessee, Asheville, bloomsburg, lancaster, and many other places.

Riding this ultra is a dream so far.the challenge is not to get too cavalier and careless now that I feel more empowered and in control.

Like you, the only regret I have with ultras is not getting one sooner.

I have been riding a Ultra sense 2003 and have enjoyed them everysense. You can get pretty frisky with one but you also need to respect its limitations of them as well as they no sport bike. They can be a lot of fun and for longer trips a must.

Riding in 35 - 40 degree weather is hard core. Even with fairings and windshields. Of course, you guys have to. It's gonna be 80 here today and tomorrow, warmer than usual.

No we don't have to but if we want to ride we can't be wimps. There are plenty of warm clothing available to aid in comfort. It is pretty warm for this time of year so no reason to put the bike away.

Hey BI, doesn't that Road Glide just look mean?:D:cool:
