Had a hollor cross tie in the yard that had a yellow jacket nest in it.
They came out and got me, my buddy and both our labs.
I got a can of startin fluid and went to the place where like 100 of them rascals was and sprayed the whole can in the hole and killed all of them.
I was pretty upset from being stung about 11 times.
I dang sure know what yellow jackets are and i know they live in the ground.

Cool, would be nice to meet if you can pin men down long enough.

If they are killing he buzzin things that make a noise I'm gonna try to git alone with them for a while. And I've seen them over a 50 mile radius

CB, those Cicada's are the bugs that I was talking about here when we were back east. The trees were full of em all over the east and into N.C. and they have an eerie sound and are plenty loud.
They are big and have been known to take a big bite out of your hide, especially if your out sitting on a deck and they mistake your arm for a tree limb. I read that about em so know its true. :D Be careful where you sit. They lay their eggs in the trees, hibernate 10-14 years and then come back out again with a vengeance, better move. :D

    Ever been Duck Huntin dude.

I used to belong to a Duck Club. I had a outfitter that loved to take me when he had paying folks. I got a Bernelli Super Black Eagle in Camo 3 1/2 mag.
I used to shoot about everybodys ducks.
Still got 5 cases if shotgun shells. I will sit on the front pourch and drink beer with my Bernelli and shoot the rascals.
Think I will go take the Plug out right now so it will hold more shells.:cussing:

My house is on Stilks, The front pourch is not on the ground . It goes across the front of the house even though its only like 3' wide.
You can't come and look in my windows. And if I got one open part of the house is like 11' off the ground.
In the spring and fall I like to sleep with the windows open.
If you try to sneak in I got a 100 lb laB thAt will greet you and wake me up.
