Open carry is legal here to but the cops will harass you if they see it and I'll bet it's going to be that way in Texas to.

TX law had some issues there was a libtard D politician trying to
add some caviats on OC and how the cops could or could not
approach you in order to kill the bill.

Don't care about cops, if they come up to ask I'll answer
they are doing their jobs, it's lafoznka, tasheekwa and twofando
and their possies see you, follow you, ambush you.

You end up the target, you end up dead, never will have time
to draw, they'll pop you from behind.

Like I said think how badass you think you are and then
cut it in 10 pieces and take half of one of them...

Might as well carry a sign that says shoot me I have
$1000 in my pocket through Shelia Jackson Lees hood.

Pay these folks and see if they want to harrass you very long.
But with you not being in Texas they might not cover you.

I understand Dang well what he is saying.
But if I'm asked, I promise they will remember me and not ask again.

They can Ask and I will Gladly Produce it.
I haven't had my drivers license checked in about 17 yrs.

And I promise they will remember me.
Because I will have a picture of the officer, his or her name and the date I was asked.
I have not had a ticket, or anything on my record since I been here for 30 yrs.
When I get a ticket. I go hire a attorney and git it off my record.
If not the insurance goes up.

    If I'm harrassed PERIOD.

    I will seek legal advise.
    I can afford it.
And I promise many , many texans will protest any harrasement.

I do not give a Dauym.
The STATE of TEXAS passed the law.

My rights will not be taken from me.

You know when I stayed with my BILL in Az, it's a open carry state. Never seen anybody open carrying .
And Ala has a open carry. You go not see hardly nobody there open carry.
Houston has a car jacking, store robbery, home invasion. Bank robbery
    About everyday.
And with all the people that want to open carry.
If the Police wants to check everybody.
They need to hire more police officers.
Cause it will be a full time job for them.
Houston has 6 million people there.

I think the police need the help of private citizens there is so much crime.
But unless it effects me or my immediate family. I will not draw my weapon.
And I think it will make more business put up signs no open carry, in this business.
I don't care. One way or the other.
Just gives the citizens more rights on carry. And id you carry concealed & you weapon is not alway concealed. You are not in as much trouble.
If the Police has nothing to do but check my CHL.
    Let's git to it.

When I get a ticket PERIOD.
I hire an attorney and say, want this off my record.
I'm not running from the police because of a new pistol law.
If you ha e a warrant or write a bad check. It's BS but it effects your CHL.
More &more people are paying attorneys a monthly fee to keep them on retainer.

We don't have it in FL, unless you are hunting, on the way to a range or on private property for now, doesn't bother me, I"m not strapping on to mow the yard.

Open carry is fine it's the opencarrytards that bother me, like the numb nuts that carried an ar-15 into Hartsfield Atlanta Airport yesterday, dumbass did it for no reason than to get attention, cops stopped him and questioned him, but he wasnt arrested.

Cops job is to protect the airport so they are naturally going to question someone
with an AR-15, it's going to make new, and it's going to help anti gunners.

    Was the dipshit legal? Sure
was it good for gun owners, not so sure.. image wise.

Sitting here at Wichita Pub drinking coffee while waiting for Maddog to show up and thinking about this.

I remember when there was no such thing as open carry or concealed carry. Everybody just took their hunting rifles in their PU truck. Nobody was disrespectful and nobody got all excited because you had a gun. Not very many actually carried a pistol in a holster. Now everything is upside down thanks to a few idiots and all these terrorist in our country.
Reminds me of an old friend who spent 3 tours in Nam and was paranoid. So he carried a pistol in a holster everywhere he went. So he goes into a bank with his pistol strapped to his side. The police rushed him and through him to the ground and handcuffed him. The bank had just been robbed, did he have a right sure he did. He never opened carried again.

There are 50 times as much crime today.
And people has no respect for other peoples rights.
Somebody is getting killed everyday in Houston which has 6 million people.

Somebody is robbed, car jacked and all.
People ask where are the police when you need them.
The police will tell you they are on other calls.
Top priority goes 1st. And with so many crimes you need to get a CHL and protect yourself.
Especially in home invasions which is also everyday in Houston.

I agree with that, carry, and protect, cops are not going to
be there when you need them, but they will fill out a report
    over your body...

As I have said before, I won't open carry but if I am printing a little or if my shirt rises and exposes my gun while riding or whatever, I am not going freak out about it. The first line of defense IMO is to not go into known troubled areas unless you absolutely need to. If you aren't there, no reason to have to use your weapon. I understand that stuff happens everywhere but going to a crime driven area is just inviting trouble.

I will use my weapon for the protection of anyone in imminent life threatening danger. Yes, that includes you Cardboard.

You need to have a insurance threw an attorney.
Cause you can loose everything you own doing it.

    http://www.gunfacts.info/gun-control-myths/concealed-carry/

And just remember, somebody you help, may be the person that is against you having a CHL license .
And if you pull your weapon and use it that is when the liability starts for you.
And the chances go up for you to loose your CHL license and cost you a lot of money.
You need to do your homework of what happens if I shoot somebody trying to help somebody else ?
