How much fuel in float bowl?

    I put a new cvp float needle in and it doesn't seem to like the stock setting way to much gas so right now my carb bowl when I take it off seems to be a little more then 3/4 full. how much fuel should I have in there to be ok?

    I cut blocks with a saw I did 15 18 and 20 degrees and all of these were way to much gas. I fowled the plugs with in ten miles.
