    the 65 also had a frame change...they moved the seat mounting up to facilitate the battery,,,,,fyi....64 was the first year for electric start......service cycle had it........

    the one the meter maids rode around town markin you tires with chalk.......then issuing a ticket.......also delivery's of all types!!!

    I was born in 1950, a lot of the motorcycles in this clip is what I seen. I started riding on the street in 1964 when I was 14 yrs old. You could get a motorcycle license in Alabama back then. And there were no helmet laws.
    These are a lot of the motorcycles I seen and rode while growing up.
    This is a lot of what a lot of people "motorcycle companies" are trying to copy now days. But they seem to be gettin too far away from the roots.
    Know a lot of folks knock AMF. I had a AMF motorcyle and rode it for a long time.
    AMF made bowling machine equiptmen for one thing back then.
    AMF introduced a lot of new models to the HD group and kept them from going under.

    You didn't see any of that during the flat head days man. Girls wore everything up to their neck.

    Well...since they were in production until '73 I'd have to say there was more than likely more than 1 pin-up girl on one in the '50s,60's and early '70s....but I'm way to young to actually know for sure;):D
