I'm a dyed in the wool HD guy, have been for a loooong time and I guess despite flirting with the idea of other brands I will always be an HD guy.

And nothing good comes from bashing non HD bikes on a multi brand bike forum. Meaning me,myself and I am trying to be more user friendly and sensitive to other brands of motorcycle.

Forums aren't as much spouting your opinions as much as it seems to be playing well with others with lesser broad shoulders.

I am so ethnocentric its a shame.

I still think this one was the better of the Goldwing group. This was my 2000 Valkyrie Interstate before I triked it for the wife. Still miss that bike, man it had power.

I learned that word many a year ago and it stuck. It defined me, unfortunatley.

It's a great word and discribes most everyone I know...

    It's like asking the question,
What do you think and then doing what you want to do anyway.

I'm the kind a HD rider that when I use to throw parties part of the attraction was to string up a yamaha, honda, etcc and charge 2$ a whack or a shot and then burn it in effigy. My house still has stickers that say HD is the best F**** the rest and on my front.

I'm not that bad any more because apparently its not popular here on forums......

These forums are tricky for the older long time HD rider generation. While most, including me, started out on non HD bikes it was a financial consequence. Once I finally got my leg over an HD I never looked back. Over time, it gets in your bones and part of the fabric of who you are. Depressing to see the new HD generations watering that down. Brotherhood has been reduced to a word that sounds cool when you say it.

I'll stop. I'm going down that road again :banghead:

You and Jay Leno:rolleyes:...you can only ride 1 bike and you cannot take it with you. He who dies with the most toys simply has more things people will fight over once your gone.:)

We all have our own preferences when it comes to bikes and that's fine. I happen to prefer bobbers, others baggers, etc.

I think many modern bikes are a bit over the top when it comes to styling. To my eye, either they look too squared off & hard edged, or they look like something out of Alien.
And most have too much bling.

Even if I had more money, I would still keep my ol' '77 and ride it & wrench on it from time to time. That part of motorcycling has gotten in my blood, and some of my blood has gotten into it!

    Personally:puke::puke::puke:

Hideous, but not as hideous as the Vision.

    But to each his own.
