I think Marc FLHT went down on the way to Street Vibrations

    in my own personal thought, I hope to never be in the fight for life Marc and his family are in. I hope that there is a good outcome and that the family is given the respect and know that we support them. Please respect there personal space and wish well .

    Facebook search Marc Gibson, I don't know what you can see if you are not friends on Facebook. I am not that good with it.
    As of 5:40 MDT there is no change that I see posted, I do check a couple times a day. His wife's name is Judy Gibson, daughter is Jennifer Gibson Dennis, he is at Legcy Emanuel Medical Center in Neuro Trauma ICU. That is all I know.

    I was able to find FB pages for his wife and daughter, neither of which are publicly shared so there is nothing recent posted that can be seen by someone who is not a FB friend. I don't want to post those pages here to protect their privacy during this difficult time for their family.

    I will always post here the latest updates. Be aware that they are few and very far in between. The last one is that he suffered a set back no other info was offered and they apologized for not being able to communicate with us.

    Haven't been on Facebook for a very long time, but I'm always here looking for news on Marc's condition. He once said of me when I was getting ready to quit Bike Talk over some stupid feud I had with another member, "We'd hate to lose you, Josh. You're a valued member of our forum". No doubt he didn't say that about the other guy!
    Well, we'd hate to lose you, too, Marc, and we are all praying continually for your recovery as you are also a valued member and friend to many of us here.

    Marc provided similar words of wisdom to me a few times josh. I met Marc in AZ and a few of his buddies. Great people all! Marc is a Vietnam combat Vet and he rides with similar group of people. Honor, courage and loyal are a few of his traits. I'm proud to have him as a long distance friend. My heart has been hurting over this and in praying hard.

    I guess a lot of us old timers are coming out of the woodwork now. :) I haven't been on here for about five years right after I had my wreck. Marc was always a great person to exchange ideas with and is generous with his knowledge. I don't ride motorcycles anymore but I do miss it. I still like them and check in here occasionally to see how everyone is doing. At 71, you don't bounce back as quick or as high as you once did. I have essentially recovered completely from my wreck but I guess I will stick to my guns and my bible as our president says. ;) I will be praying for Marc as I do for every rider that passes me now. Y'all stay safe.

    My first contact with Marc was in 1996 on a comment section of a motorcycle comparison put on by Motorcycle online. It was a Road King vs Royal Star comparison. At that time Marc had a Gold Wing and a Yamaha Royal Star. I had a Harley Dyna and a Yamaha RZ 350 and wouldn't give a fat tired bike the time of day. You would probably guess that we didn't exactly hit it off at first but it didn't take long to get our preferences out of the way and look beyond what we were riding and to see who we were. A few guys were going to Laughlin in 97, the Royal Star group were actively marketing their bikes and the aftermarket behind it so sight unseen and only with the information he got off the internet and a couple of phone calls, invited me to go and stay at his place and we'd ride down through central cali and over to Laughlin. It was a great ride and a great time. We camped in Bullhead City. that was the first of a number of rides we shared. Sturgis a few times, the Bike Talk Arizona rides etc. They were all the same, just great. We are from different backgrounds, him a Republican and me from the home of socialized medicine, politically we are very different, but that didn't matter. Over the past few years we talked about getting together maybe meeting up in Idaho or maybe I should just chance going over the mountains and go to Street Vibrations. We got a meet up in Idaho but I never made it to St Vibrations. I'm just kind of rambling here and praying at the same time. I picked up a new touring bike yesterday, got tired of trying to sort out the front end on the '12 limited. the new bike is beautiful, black quartz but I'm preoccupied, worrying about Marc, it was a quiet ride. I pray for Marc and Pat and the rest of the family. Marc is a pretty special man. all you guys ride safe out there

    Latest from Marc's daughter;
    Hi Steve, another update!!!
    I've been mostly living at the hospital these days as my dad is still in the trauma unit. I wanted to update those who are following both on my facebook page and on my dad, Marc Gibson,'s page. My dad is fairly stable, however, the type of traumatic brain injury he has, which is called a diffuse axonal injury of the brain, is very severe and has severely impacted his frontal lobe...the thinking part of our brains. He remains in a vegetative state. Please send prayers and thoughts for our family as we consider next steps for my dad. This is such a difficult time for all of us.
