Well there is no pain or sickness in heaven. And nothing physical that can hold you back it's a sad day for us here on earth to hear this news .but heaven has gotten a new biker guardian angel to watch over us here on earth .may our Heavenly father be with his family during this time of mourning and may they feel the peace that can only come from him .God speed Marc.

A post from Marcs daughter :
    update on Marc Gibson
The last two weeks have been some of the hardest in my adult life. My dad, Marc Gibson, has continued to be a severe, deep, coma due to his traumatic brain injury, which occurred in a motorcycle crash. The Dr's have little hope of any meaningful recovery for him. As a family, this morning, we made the decision to remove him from life support. My dad always made his wishes very clear about the quality of life he would want to have if this type of horrible situation ever occurred. I feel we have done our best to honor his wishes, no matter how hard it has been. Please send thoughts and prayers to my dad for a peaceful transition to a better place.

A man like that should be left with his dignity and they did well as a family to let him have his wishes .much respect for his wife and kids I know what it like to be put in that position and it's an extremely hard thing to do.

God Bless you Marc, and your family. I've gone through losses but thankfully I've never had to make that decision to end life support. That's a strong loving family. I'd love to sit down and have a Rogue Brown Ale, from Oregon for Marc but I am unable to do so. I'm just going to have to go for a ride, for Marc, just have to figure out where

Does anyone know of a charity or group he was close to that I could send a donation to? Wounded Warriors or something like that....

R.I.P. Marc Gibson! I don't have the words to describe the sadness I feel at the moment!

As others have said, this had to have been the most difficult decision to have been faced with, but it was the correct one. My heart aches with sympathy for the family!

    Marc, RIDE ON BROTHER!

You know FB you're probably right. I know we've had our beg to differ moments but hey friends are people who know everything about each other and like each other anyways.

I'd like to propose that we all push forward united as friends in Marcs memory? We're all
likable gents. Marc thought enough of us to befriend us in his own way.

It is hard to believe that this has happened. Life sure can take sharp turns very quickly. May God bless Marc and be with his family in this terrible ordeal. RIP my brother.

My prayers to Marc's family and friends. I know what a horrible decision that is to make. I know it was the best thing that could be done for Marc. Marc, we're gonna miss you. Rest with God.

So sad to hear this, I too have been in the position of his family and had to make the same decisions. Its a very hard one to make, but I believe the correct one. Marc always responded to practically every post put up on this board, and always had a opinion or advice, not always the same as the rest of us, but one just the same. This forum won't be the same with out him. Rest In Peace Marc, and may God be with you.
