My friend has a HD Sundowner seat on his 05 Glide Classic,
and he just got back from a 5,000 mile trip to the west coast. If it wasn't a confortable seat I would have heard about it, I've set on it and it does feel good, I've been thinking about getting one for my Fat Glide.

Hey Chuck, your nicer than I would be. You also forgot to mention that we have a jerk for a president and the country is in distress from him to.

As for Mustang seats I love them on every touring bike I've had them on. I have used the smooth seat, didn't like the buttons. As for comfortable, it was the best touring seat out there. I wished they would make a heated seat but they said they never will.

I am sorry for the statment to chucktx about his flying the flag upside down, I didnt know about it being a distress signal. So please continue to help teach us how to be better people and better Americans.

Chuck I got the one piece with the backrest on my FLHTC - And I can tell you that it is more comfortable that my easy chair. I put 13 hours in the saddle back in June and never felt more relaxed when I got to my destination.
Only problem was the seat on the bike didn't have a good view of the TV like my easy chair does. LOL:D

Thanks for coming back Broncoman, and standing up for yourself. Very cool maneuver. Stick around, we're a good bunch of guys here with plenty of info to share. (well not me so much but others are very well informed)

Sorry about your thread chuck, but let us know about the seat cuz I'll be looking for a new one soon too!

Hot Dang, MAN'ed UP. :D I haven't been here as long as some, but I have been here long enough to know this is the best Bike related site I have dumbed across. Chuck is right at the top of the pile for being knowledgable and willing to help (so many folks here have been too cool and helpful to me). Thanks for removing doubt in my mind. 38Years of riding :roflmao: you been riding as long as I have been alive :D, so what can you teach me and the rest of us? Enjoy the hangout and welcome aboard.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread .

I rode with the Sundowner for quite a while and it is a very comfortable seat and actually helps stabilize the bike because it's wide enough that your thighs touch and help with controlling the bike. That said, the Mustang was even better, i'd look in that direction Chuck.

The Mustang is definitely not a mistake, good luck.

** FLHT, any way you can send me a copy of that photo you're using as an icon with the cat? My friend's would get a big kick out of it and when I try to copy it, it remains the same very small size, thanks.
