For where Josh rides, his jacket gets the job done.

Your jacket FLHT is one that yeah can be worn locally but is also made for the all weather long haul.

I have a jacket I use to ride to work. A jacket I use in the spring summer and early fall and a jacket for cold weather. Hard to find an all in one deal. The one for summer is awsome. Its by HD, is mesh with kevlar elbws and lower back with a zip in water proof liner. I keep a sweat shirt in the bke in the event it starts out cold or starts to get cold.

My summer jacket is my best jacket.

I have a leather jacket by first gear but find the textile jackets I like better. Seem warmer to me. I also have a first gear mesh jacket for summer riding that I can put a sweatshirt under in the morning and when it warms up I just wear the mesh jacket. Beleave it or not but even on a hot summer day as long as your moving the mesh jackets are pretty good.

Beyond a doubt Fox Creek makes the finest quality leather jackets do I would assume the same for their vests. I own the "Vented Racer Jacket" with leather laces up the sides to adjust fit and I love it.
