Doc did not say anything except to wait untill the incision was healed,
my Doc is a rider, he has at least 10 different makes and models that I know of.
I have had no problems with my pacemaker, I do have a clinic in a couple of weeks were they test it and then try and tweak it a little to get longer battery life out of it.

I know it's horrible etiquette to resurrect 8 month old threads, but I'm doing it anyway... :)

My name is Eric Reeves, Bob Reeves son, and I just stumbled across this thread.

I'd like to pass a quick thank you to all in this forum / thread. It has been a tough year, and I miss the hell out of him! Finding things like this is awesome...

Thanks again to you all... Please feel free to contact me for any reason.

    Safe riding...

    - Eric

Hello Eric. They say that time heals all wounds. I am not sure that I believe that entirely but I sure hope that it is so in your case. You are most welcome for the thoughts and the prayers that were extended to your family. :) I hope that you stay around here to become a staple in our awesome, dysfunctional, but awesome family we know as Bike Talk.

Talk care and I hope to see you around on the board...:D

Ignition could cause the interference with the pacemaker or even a defib implant. Buddy has one and doc told him the same thing. He went ahead and uses a backpack leaf blower against doc orders. So far (more than 2 years) no problems.

Met Bob I believe it was here. Went riding with him and took him to Texas V-Twins in Trinity where he found out that somebody that he bought the bike from had put like a 16" wheel on the rear of his bike and it was like a 17" rim.
We rode together and he complained at how squirley his bike handled.
Now he knew why. He got Bert to order him a new tire.

He later had the Duece turned into a Frankenstein Trike.
He was on the trike headed up 356 north from Onlaska to trinity when he had a heart attack.

Hate to see things happen to friends

Again, poor etiquette to resurrect an old thread, but I'm going to do it anyway...

Eric, my sincere condolences to you and your family.
I met Bob and Rena in October 2010 when I purchased a Skiff J16 from him. I spent a few hours with him on the lake and in his home while making the transaction. He was quite an impressive person, enjoying where he was in life. Both he and his wife were very pleasent people and made my wife and I feel quite welcome. They are the type of people that would make great, fun friends. I must say learning of your loss has struck me hard. I thought quite fondly of your father and will remember him always. Send Rena my best and I hope she is doing well. My prayers go out to the both of you.

I trust this message finds you well.
    Sincerely
2112 (Rena knows who I am)
