New wires, coil and Crane electronic module but that doesn't mean perfection I suppose.

I'd try a 45 pilot, main is probably ok.
Did 925 miles this weekend, mileage varried from 54 to 42 mpg's. The high was running steady for about 150 miles at 60-65 mph with no wind and very good weather on mostly mountain roads. The low was this morning runnin on I-80 at 80 mph and bucking a strong head wind, had to hit reserve to make the gas station.

Plugs are clean and white. Would you still decrease the pilot jet?

Finally got it all sorted out and she runs awesome now, quick start, good idle, no spitting or backfiring and all kinds of power. Turns out that all I had to do was set the float correctly and like magic it started running great. Never thought a float adjustment could make so much difference. Thank you for all your input and thanks for such a great product. I'd buy from you again.

Great to hear it, just curious was the float too high or too low?

Too low, I'll never make that mistake again.
