Iphone 5

Think I've heard something about there was a security problem with flash player.
Might just be apple.:gah:

Just went and looked, there is a flash player for the Iphone available.

And if everybody that rides a Harley says buy American stay american.
Well Apple is a American company, Samsung and some of the droids are not.
So their money leaves the U.S. to stay in another country.:gah:

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods


Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.


Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.


So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

MY OL or neither me or Cowboy has had a problem with the new map.
It seems to work fine in Texas.:gah:

Verizon deceided not to honor their customers unlimited network.
Best Buy here had extra phones on Verizon's network for the Iphone 5
There were NO AT&T Iphone 5's

I've had my phone like 2 weeks now, no Problems

did you try downloading Google maps ?

Me either. You will have to use Mapquest.
Here in Texas we've had good luck with Apples map. It works great.

Nothing but bad news about these phones on the news last evening...Customers are real pissed too...

Why is it that folks that do not have a Product know so much information about it ?
And the information they are giving is totally wrong.

Don't know why you say that. Do you have one. I would bet NO .

I got one of the 1st Iphone 5's released. Had it 2 weeks, my buddy across the street got one.
They only had 5 Iphone 5's.
The phone works great. The map program works great here in Texas.
My wife has the IS06 operating system on her Iphone 4S.
She has used the map and its taken her right where she wanted to go.
She was on back of the Ultra limited and used Siri to find a business and used the map to take us there.
Cowboy has had good luck with the map.

The phone is lighter.
My buddy took it to Houston and got on the LTE network and said his internet at home wasn't as fast.
So to me what you are saying is not true. You can go to Safari and use google maps.
And you can download the Google search app.

The Iphone 5 has to be the best Iphone ever made.
And if you give Apple a little time they will fix the bug in their map.
Have you ever bought Windows and put it on your computer and it had bugs in it. YOu know you have.
Updates came out and fixed the problem.

Hey...Did I say I had the product? No...I do not have one, nor do I want one...I have a 5 year old Nokia that works great...Obviously judging from all the complaints not all can be as fortunate as you and get a phone that worked...All I mentioned if you go back to the post is what has been reported all over the US ever since the phone came out...PROBLEMS...A lot of the people interviewed were technoid phone geeks that test this crap so I believe they probably know what they are talking about...Much more than you or me...

And no I would not be stupid enough to buy any new computer product/application that has not been out for sometime and had the bugs fixed...I only do this based on all the complaints you hear about after products have been launched...Just my $0.02

A lot of people are unhappy with the new 9 pin charger. The Iphone comes with a charger.
The car charger will require a adapter which is cheap. And I ain't talkin just for me.
Got freinds using the phone too.
And the map program seems to be a little problem.
The droid folks think if there is one mishap with a Iphone, they should give you your money back.
And the folks that don't want one are screaming about it.
I'm stating from my personal use and friends that have the Iphone 5 in Texas personal use.
The Iphone 5 has been a really good phone.
I'm takin up for it.
