Well I dun got over 60, a Hard tail Chopper would kick my butt.

My wife has a nightster. I ride it around on short runs when I ain't got nothin to do.
Its kinda small for me Oh. MY knees are stuck up in the air .
And the seat is too far forward. I need it slid back a lot.

Ain't nothin like a Electra Glide.
Rode a Duo Glide back in the 70's. Got ruined then and I guess I will stay ruined.

I thought the same as you until I did 800 miles on my Sportster in two days... They are nice but a soft tail would do the trick as well. Stick to what it is that you like and don't let any person tell you what to ride... It will happen here often!!!:D

You gotta live by the mantra "Whatever floats your boat" and stop with the "I'm tougher than you" crap. Save it for Washington DC. :cussing:

Riding to sturgis ain't the problem, its gittin enough time off to make it there, party and come back.
Texas is a big state. Don't know where yer sister lives. Must be up near the pan handle if its 800 miles.
FRom my house to sturgis is 1300 miles one way.
