The reason as you know on compression test.
If your compression is bad. There is nothing else to do. No need to spend anymore money on it. Cause without the compression right. Yer wasting your time.

Do I get paid extra for having to sit around and explaining it to everybody.
    I get bored easily.
Time is money. You run a company wasting time. Tell me how it works out for you and pays bills.
And when a customer comes in Waste their time. See how they like it.

I ain't gonna do something and explain it to you.
You sound like you want to hold class and shoot the BS .
MY Old Lady goes to meeting like that every week. People are making big money trying to figure something out. And the people that knows what to do, they can't listen. And they keep wasting more and more money. And not taking care of the problem.
When I had my business . If you wanted me to talk to you. it was 85.00 an hour to talk or sit and wait.
Or 85.00 an hour for me to work. What do you want to do.

My customers know. Not to leave me waiting too long. I will get up and leave.
Got other jobs to do. Not sit and BS.

If the rockers are off at this point its the best time to do a cylinder leak test perfect time!take the hose from the compression gauge and pull tje shrader out stick it in the cylinder put shop air to it it should be sealed .no air should come out of the intake exhaust and very little out of the crank case .because every moter has blow by to a point .base and heads will be hissing if the gaskets are leaking.

I was thinking this also, but was not sure if the air pressure would be enough to show the leaking head gasket, combustion chamber pressures being much higher than the 90-100psi of a leakdown test.

Well the shitty part is now you really dont know if you had a leaking exhaust valve cuz you took it apart without diagnosis just cuz the gaskets were good dont mean shit should have done a leak down .the least you couls do now is a valve grind and seals.so when you put it back together you know the valves are sealing. Throwing parts at a problem dont fix shit!

Baggerpaul I've confirmed two exhaust valve leaks using pressurized air into the port. Symptoms of two leaks would be? I ran 40-60 psi in and it came out the face of the valve.

Loss of compression and cylinder pressure especially when it gets to full temp.40 to 60 psi is not going to overcome spring seat pressure. So a valve job is in order.send them to kirby on this forum goes by prodrag 1320 he will do a stand up job for little coin

I'll check with him. It might be sitting for awhile. Looks pricey.
