Personally I'm more concerned about what's behind me,especially when coming to an intersection where I may need to stop, that's why I always add run/stop signal kits to try to light up like a Christmas tree when I'm coming to a stop....increased lighting on both ends of the bike is a real good idea, because we all know we're invisible out there and people just don't pay attention to what's going on outside the vehicle anymore...:)

Actually a shop here in my area makes a kit called leg up landing gear
works really well, lot of thought, computer controlled, speed sensors
    locally made.

Iv'e seen them on several bikes, if you compare the cost of trading in a
paid for bike for a new $30K trike it's not expensive, and with these you can still
    ride it like a motorcycle.

Yea that'll put you out to around 75 then time for that trike.

I know of several older guys and a lot of women who function perfectly on a Trike. Nothing wrong with em cause there still riding and still feeling young.
