    OK, technically they aren't gone (The Cottars » tour schedule), but they were originally a four person band with two sets of brother/sister combos. I saw them when they were in their mid-teens, and was amazed at their talent. Apparently adolescence made them a bit crazy, and Rose and Jimmy MacKenzie left the group. The "new" Cottars are fine, but they just ain't all they used to be, to me.
