what is the price, and do ya have some pics??? i think a dealer will look at you like a deer caught in headlights........they probably wont have a clue, but you can ask. dont be surprised if he asks ya if ya want fries with that!! the main thing is to be sure the numbers on the cases match the title.....:)

The engine case numbers match the title so I know that the engine is correct, but I would like to verify the transmission as well. Do they have the same system as the engine? The price is 15k and most people are saying that it should only be around 7k-8k. As far as pictures go, take a look a look near the beginning of this thread, there is a whole lot of them. If you want to hear the bike, PM me with your cell number and I will text you a video while the bike is running.

CB, I will make an offer, but I want to make sure i have as much information about the bike as I can so I can make a fair and right offer, if I want this bike, I do not want to make such an offer until I am sure it is what I think that it should be.

Ok, is there a way that I can get that weld to look better without sacrificing the strength of the frame? One person had suggested to cut it out and replace the frame tube and make a prettier weld??

If it is an original frame, doing what you want will screw up the bike and it's value.

If it's been chopped and cut to heck then mess with it, but don't take an old Pan and
screw up History... Keep it accurate as possible. JMO...

If you want it to look better, buy the bike, then buy a custom Pan frame
from an aftermarket supplier and build what you want but keep the original frame
original, they are darn near impossible to find...

I am next to positive that the frame is in its original condition, however, there is already a lot of incorrect parts on this bike. :(

I just found a site that has old pan head bike parts available. I emailed and he has already gotten back to me asking what it is that I am looking for. Lets see how this goes. :D

The sucky thing about it is that I cannot see his inventory, I just have to rely on what it is that he tells me. :(
