    The powder coated covers are ready and they look pretty nice. Now I just need the sliders. Found a clean set of Thunderstorm heads (cheap, couldn't resist) so I guess I'm doing an engine build now :rolleyes:

    Sunday I'll head over to the cycle swap and look for the other things on my want list:
    Set of 883 jugs for boring
    Solo sprung seat
    Old rear fender suitable for chopping
    Drag bars

    Oh crap, so much else going on I hadn't realized it has been so long. I have everything for it but just haven't had the time to put it together. Before rebuilding with the 1200 parts I have I need to take care of some welding and fabricating to relocate the shock mounts. The originals on an 88 are too short plus one side is about ready to break, so I will be moving new mounts up an inch for a stronger mount. The minute I start on that stuff I promise to snap some pictures.

    I wish. Project is on hold until I get the upcoming V-Twin Expo (dealer trade show) out of the way next month.
