KNow it don;t happen to everybody.

but I got a few friends that went to Daytona last year.
They got hassled a lot by the Police.
They are not trouble makers either.

Said they will not go back again period.
One of them is over 50 yrs old too.

They can just put you out to pasture man.

After the 1st day of Daytona you probaly won't even come out of the Motel room.
You will be pickin up the phone callin for Room Service dude.

Hope you can sleep with a lot of Noise !:D

FWIW I've been there for 15 odd years,
    I've never been pulled over
    Never been hassled
    never been arrested
Never even been approached and had anything
bad said to me by LEO.

In fact we've stood with them on Main street
and chatted and laughed about some of the
    folks.

Pretty much have to say (no offense cardboard)
if your friends got in trouble they did something
stupid and pretty much called attention big time.

You have to be a big smart ass to get LEO's
    on your case at Daytona.

    Burn Outs
Super Loud pipes being rapped over and over
Nudity on Main street (in view of a cop)
falling down drunk on the street
    Riding like an idiot.
    MOuthing off to a LEO

    Might get you popped.

PO's me people telling others to stay away
for these reasons and they weren't even there

    Daytona is great
    lots to do
    tons of fun

It's not a ticket target fest....

    no offense cardboard
but that stuff (stay away teach a lesson)
hurts people that need jobs, (lots of people come in
for part time jobs that pay a years worth of wages in tips)

    Strippers need income too....
    Hotels,
    restaurants
    bars
    stores
    vendors

All can make up a years income
