I'd stay with a 110 and build it.

Got a Buddy that did a lot of money in a 124. it came apart.
He did a 117cu. It was a lot faster than the 124.
And you wouldn't like the fuel milage with the 124 either.
Got a buddy that has a 124 S&S on his bagger.

He took it out and has the 117cu sittin at the house and bought a brand new 110cu motor for 6100 at a dealer. Put it in his bike . Got 99hp and 111 tq.
    He's happy.
They got a new cam out at the HD dealer for the 110cu motor that really wakes the motor up.
They got like 115hp and 126 tq if I remember right.

What kind of crank would you have ?

you know these cranks has to be put together.
how would you make a right hand side crank and left hand side of the crank with the Pinion shaft and the sprocket shaft and the crank pin ?

You know if yer worried about yer crank.
You can check Pinion shaft runout.
    There's specs on it man.

How many miles do you have on yer bike ?
And what makes you worry about the crank on the 110cu motor.
Is it doing something wrong or what.

I'm about 60 miles west of Chicago. We use to go to Key West to watch the off shore power boat races and just to vacation.

Anyone like Grain Belt beer? Seems there is a yearly contest where you can make a commercial and enter it in a contest for Grain Belt and if you win you get all the Grain Belt you can drink for a year free. The reason I mention it is some people I know decided to enter this. If you google Grain Belt commercial you can vote on these commercials but I think today the 13th is the last day for it. They used a trike we tore apart and redid last year for the woman driving in the commercial. It's only a 30 sec commercial , vote for #9 if you get there. Thanx

JMO if you have a 124 or 117 and fuel mileage is your concern
you have serious serious issues LOL

I have a 124, it gets about 35 mpg on my heitage, maybe 38 with the 6 speed.
I don't care, the thing I love about the 124

When you grab a bunch of throttle in first gear it gets spinning
slips sideways, crab some clutch pound second, front wheel lifts, rear wheel lays 20 ft of rubber, bikes now doing 70ish, or more I dunno, looking down isn't safe, hammer it WOTWOTWOT, Pipes sing that big block rapppppppppppppppppppppppppppt sound, people cringe. mothers grab kids, fathers drool, car alarms sound, roll back quick, pound 3rd, **** **** **** over 100, getting rubber, now it's rolling, bam 4th, nobody is close, ears hear that song, shidt is flying by like clouds outside an F4 Phantom on a run, roll off, downshift, rattttatatattttatatataata, shift down again raattatatattata. hit the next light.... Do it again....

don't want that stuff, an 88 is just fine LOL
